Meang and all his staff were very helpful and friendly. They brought us everywhere that we wanted to go in their lovely purple tuk-tuk. Upon arrival we were shown to their new guesthouse the Prohm Roth Inn which they have just recently opened and offered us a special price as their first new guests. As we were brought to be shown the new Inn we were a little bit worried as it was further away from Pub Street and the Old Market Centre than this guesthouse that we booked but this did not matter as they always made their tuk-tuk available to us free of charge. We ended up taking the special price in the Prohm Roth Inn and really liked it. The room was big with all the amenities you could need including tv, air-con, fan, large ensuite and wifi. Also they gave us free cold water on arrival and every time we came back from a hot day out! We hired a tuk-tuk driver for two days through the guesthouse and loved being whisked around in our private purple tuk-tuk, and Gavin our driver was brilliant, friendly and kind. He always spotted us every time we exited a temple and sped right up to us to save us any extra walking in the heat! Meang also booked our onward bus ticket for us. All in all, we would definitely recommend this Guesthouse as well as their Inn.
We could not complain about anything. If we could suggest one thing it would be that there would be a fridge in the room. We did not mind too much not having one as we were able to use the big main one in the lobby.

The hotel is located in a quiet street near the Old Market, where many shops, restaurants. The rooms are very comfortable with air conditioning. The staff is very helpful and nice. Free transportation is offered to the hotel upon arrival. Unfortunately, breakfast is not offered, although this option is placed on the website. Breakfast can get very cheap on the Old Market.
My room had not a refrigerator, even though the website it said that this type of room has a refrigerator.

The staff were super friendly and made me feel like I was coming home every time I arrived back at the guesthouse. I was waiting for a message, which they went out of their way to get for me, and they helped enormously in sorting out my various trips.
There was no top sheet on the beds - bring one! The laundry service was slow and my things were slightly damp still.

Its prime location (close to the Pub Street and the Old Market) and the owner/manager, Mr. Meang and all the staff. They are very friendly and tried to be as helpful as they can. However, I can also understand why some of the guests may have unreasonable requests and expectations. As the saying goes, you get what you paid for. For the price, service and location, I can honestly say that Prohm Roth Guesthouse can't be beat. I enjoyed my stay (2 nights), especially with all the helpful suggestions from Mr. Meang as where and how I should approach my visit of the Angkor Wat and all the main temples. I had a great time!
None.

Meang was a wonderful host who looked after our every need. He was particularly kind in getting foreign currency changed for me. The guesthouse is in an excellent position, being only minutes from Pub Street and the Night Markets. It was very quiet at night time. Our room was air conditioned and had a ceiling fan.
Considering what we paid per night, we have no criticism.

This guesthouse had Very friendly and hospitable owners that were more than happy than to help us during our stay. The location near pub street was very convenient and we never needed a tuktuk at night when we wanted to walk around town. The guesthouse tuktuk drivers dropped us off at temples and waited for us as we made our rounds. Prohm Roth Guesthouse definitely contributed to a great vacation.

I really like the location
The total cost of the hotel was higher than at time of reservation. The total cost of breakfast turned out twice as high than when booking. Free meeting at the bus station, the promised online hotel was more expensive than a taxi for us 5 times. Due to the fact that the hotel owner asked us to call him several times during our move to the hotel, and as a result said to take a taxi.

Great staff, free pick up from the airport, 3 nights stay, pick up from hotel, 2 full day tours of the temples and bus ticket to bangkok=$80! Brilliant
The only problem is the 50 meters of unlit road towards pub street but I did not feel unsafe.

It is clean and thumbs up for the money that we have paid .....is definitely more value in return. I certainly recommend this hotel to any anyone that goes to Siem Riep. The location is great walking distance to the old market area and the town. It is certainly the right place and I am glad I have got this hotel.
